As we mature, our minds become larger depositories of thoughts, feelings,

memories and experiences and form an immense storehouse

of information that we can draw on - and share.

U3ASutton offers a wide range of interest groups in which to exercise the mind in a social environment as well as providing opportunities for "Out and About" activities.  There is a Committee that runs the branch and sets up the General Meetings (open to visiting non-members) with a guest speaker followed by tea, but the groups organise themselves and decide on their own programmes.  A group starts when someone comes forward with an interest in a subject and is willing to share their knowledge and experience with others.  U3ASutton is fortunate in having a wealth of such leaders.

Whether one’s interests lie in for example, literature, current affairs, bridge, art, books, photography, languages, enlightening excursions, history, debate, music, social studies, science, writing etc., most people will find a group or groups that interest them.  Members with other or more esoteric interests are welcomed and are free to form, subject to Committee approval, their own interest groups in keeping with the enquiring spirit of U3A.  So, If you cannot find a Group you would like to join, then why not form one?  It’s not difficult, and the paperwork is kept to a minimum.  Our Committee would be pleased to help, no formal qualifications are necessary.

Answer: In all of the words listed, if you take the first letter, place it at the end of the word, and then spell the word backwards, it will be the same word.
